LIVI PLACITA

JAZZ, POM

Olivia Placita grew up dancing and training at Dancers Edge Studio in Macomb, MI, where she danced for over fifteen years. She competed nationally in both the All-Star circuit and studio competitions. During her time at Dancers Edge, she trained in jazz, pom, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and ballet. In her many years of dance, Olivia had the privilege of winning multiple UDA National Championships and 10 USASF Dance World Championships. Olivia also worked as a teacher at her dance studio and has choreographed numerous title-winning solos, duos, and small groups.

After graduating high school in 2018, Olivia went on to become a member of The Ohio State University Dance Team and has had the honor of adding seven UDA College National Championships to her list of accomplishments. She graduated from Ohio State in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Exercise Science. Olivia loves dancing and sharing her passion for the sport with others. Motivating and inspiring dancers around her is something she prides herself on. Livi has been a staff member on The Tour for the past two summers. In 2024, herself and her sister Emily placed 3rd overall in the Medium Varsity Pom division with their choreography at NDTC.
