Maddy began dancing at the age of 2 in her hometown of Floyd’s Knobs, Indiana. She started her competitive dance career at age 5 doing studio dance, and her competitive dance team career at Planet Dance All-Star Studio in 6th grade, where she later became a mentor, teacher, and coach of many students.
Maddy was a four-year member and captain of the Floyd Central High School Dazzlers Dance Team. After graduating, she went on to attend the University of Louisville where she finished her fifth and final year as captain of the Ladybirds Dance Team in 2022. She earned a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Higher Education Administration, making her super passionate about the connection between our sport and athletic administration/mental health.
Throughout all of her ventures at Planet Dance, Floyd Central, and Louisville, she won 10 national titles with each of her teams as a member and leader. Maddy began choreographing right out of high school and has been choreographing for teams across the country full-time ever since. She has trained under many industry choreographers and dancers when she lived in Miami, Florida, and she travels to Los Angeles and New York City often to train as well.
She currently lives right outside of Nashville and is the Head Coach of The Western Kentucky Dance Team and Co-Mascot Coordinator. Her team competes in the D1A category in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Gameday.
She has multiple national titles as a coach and choreographer, and this past year, many of her teams broke the top 10 for the first time at UDA. She looks forward to being a fourth year member of TRIBE 99 and sharing her love for dance with each and every client and student.
