Kendra Montoney was born and raised in Southern California, where her foundation as a competitive gymnast first shaped her discipline and athleticism. She discovered her true passion for dance as a member of the nationally ranked High School: Los Alamitos Song team, earning three UDA National Championships and developing a deep appreciation for teamwork, performance, and leadership.

Kendra continued her dance career at the collegiate level at Long Beach State, where she further refined her technique, expanded her performance experience, and pursued her education. After college, she made the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders, where she cheered for four seasons. Her rookie year was the team’s unforgettable Super Bowl LVI championship season, an experience that remains one of the most defining highlights of her professional dance career. She specializes in Pom and Game Day and spirit, blending precision, performance, and energy to develop well-rounded athletes.

Currently, Kendra serves full-time at Saint Joseph High School, an all-girls Catholic high school, working as the director of advising and student success, a dance teacher and leading the school’s Song program as Head Coach. In this position, she brings the same dedication, professionalism, and spirit that have guided her throughout her journey as both an athlete and an educator.

Kendra is deeply passionate about sharing her love for dance with the next generation. She strives to inspire her dancers not only to grow technically, but to build confidence, character, and resilience. Above all, Kendra leads with her core mantra: “Work hard, be kind, and radiate positivity because when you do, anything can happen.”
