JILLIAN ZAGORSKI

HIP HOP, JAZZ, POM, TEAM PERFORMANCE

Long Island-born and raised, Jillian started dancing at the age of three. When Jillian was eight, she began dancing competitively and continued to do so all throughout college. Jillian danced for Hofstra University, in which she holds a UDA College National Championship title in Division 1 Pom.

Jillian was also on the US National Team in 2016 where she won ICU Worlds as USA Pom. In 2017, she competed at the first-ever Pan American Dance Team Worlds held in Cali, Colombia, representing the USA and winning a gold medal as well.

Jillian also worked as an instructor and choreographer under Universal Dance Association from 2015 to 2018. Jillian danced professionally for the New York Cosmos, a professional soccer team, from 2013 to 2017 where she was named captain and head choreographer in her last two seasons. Some highlights from her career with the New York Cosmos Girls include opening up for Farrukko and dancing on Fox 5 New York.

In 2018, Jillian started coaching a high school dance team in which she won Medium Varsity Hip Hop at NDA Nationals as head coach and choreographer. Jillian currently choreographs and teaches for Long Island’s largest competitive dance studio. Her choreography has traveled her not only from coast to coast, but also overseas to countries such as Finland and Greece.

Jillian specializes in pom, hip hop, jazz, team performance, and game day choreography. Her most recent accomplishments as a choreographer include winning Small Varsity Team Performance at NDA Nationals with Sachem High School East in 2023, back to back Division 1 Game Day National Champions with the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2021 and 2022, and winning Small Varsity Hip Hop at NDA Nationals with Syosset High School in 2022.
